"Lira dressed in a ball gown" – as Spanish aphorist Ramón Gómez de la Serna once wrote about the harp. Isabelle Moretti – one of the best harp players in the world – brings out the subtlety, sincerity and nobility of this instrument. Her performance of compositions of Karol Beffa and François-Adrien Boïeldieu will be complemented by the legendary piece by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. According to journalist and musicologist Piotr Orawski, it was a "requiem written by Tchaikovsky for himself": there you can hear the weakening pulse of a dying man.
