Audition for the horn

Required documents should be e-mailed until 22-10-2024 to sekretariat@filharmonia.szczecin.pl, with the note "Audition – HORN".

Audition will take place on 29-10-2024, 00:00 at Szczecin Philharmonic chamber hall. Szczecin Philharmonic will provide an accompanist for auditions.

• W.A. Mozart – choose one of the following:
• Horn Concerto No. 2 in E-flat major, K. 417
• or Horn Concerto No. 4 in E-flat major, K. 495
• Solo piece of your choice

• J.S. Bach – Mass in B minor: Aria "Quoniam tu solus sanctus"
• L. van Beethoven – Symphony No. 7, Movement I
• L. van Beethoven – Symphony No. 9, Movement III

• P. Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 5, Movement II

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Szczecin Philharmonic will provide an accompanist for auditions.
• After completing the recruitment process and selecting the best candidate, a contract will be concluded.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AND EXPERIENCE

• A diploma of higher education, at least a bachelor's degree

(specialization: instrumental performance – horn).

• Professional orchestral experience and familiarity with the symphonic repertoire are highly desirable.
