Artur Janda

Artur Janda's current operatic appearances include Escamillo in Carmen at Santiago de Chile Opera and the Polish National Opera, 2nd Soldier in Salome at the Napoli Teatro di San Carlo, Don Alfonso in Cosi fan tutte at the Polish National Opera, Truffaldino in Ariadne auf Naxos with Nederlandse Reisopera, Pizarro in Fidelio at Baltic Opera, Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, and Aeneas in Dido and Aeneas with Warsaw Chamber Opera.

Artur Janda is set to participate in numerous concerts, including Rossinis’s Stabat Mater with the Berlin Philharmonischer Chor, Górecki’s Symphony nr. 2 in Krakow Philharmonic, Rossini's Stabat Mater in Łódź Philharmonic, Penderecki’s Seven Gates of Jerusalem in Bydgoszcz Philharmonic, and Bach’s Magnificat in Warsaw National Philharmonic.

Some of Artur Janda’s most remarkable engagements include the title roles in Don Giovanni and Imeneo, as well as Zbigniew in The Haunted Manor, Provost Marshal in Hindemith's Cardillac, Achilla in Giulio Cesare Orbazzano in Tancredi, Alidoro in La Cenerentola, Selim in Il turco in Italia, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, Dulcamara in L’elisir d’amore.

Artur Janda was awarded two prestigious Fryderyk Awards for the Most Outstanding Polish Music Recording for the album Where Are You. Pieces From Warsaw and another in the category of Early Music Album of the Year for the recording Antonio Caldara- Maddalena ai piedi di Cristo.

Mr. Janda was nominated for the Jan Kiepura Theatrical Music Award in the category of Best Opera Singer in 2019, 2020 and 2022.

Artur Janda graduated from the F. Chopin Music University in Warsaw, where he studied under the tutelage of Anna Radziejewska at the Solo Singing Department and Professor Kazimierz Gierżod at the Piano Department.
