Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birthday in January is a great opportunity to recall his work. We are happy to invite all music lovers to the Vivat Mozart concert on Friday, January 29th at 7 p.m on the streaming platform livefilharmonia.szczecin.pl
The access to live broadcasts and the concerts archive costs 10/20 PLN.
Mozart composed many of his greatest works with a speed that embarrassed many of his contemporaries and still amazes us as well. An example is his 36th Symphony, which we will hear performed by Szczecin symphonists this Friday. All indications are that its four fully developed parts were formed in just four or five days in 1783!
We do not find any trace of the rush that Wolfgang may have felt while composing the symphony. On the contrary, Mozart begins the symphony for the first time with a certain, convincing, but slow sound (it is said that this introduction unusually fascinated Beethoven). In the distinguished third movement, he introduced trumpets and drums for the first time, he used them in the slow section!
On the occasion of the 264th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birth during Friday's broadcast, in addition to the aforementioned Symphony No. 36, we will also hear his Violin Concerto No. 5.
