This is the title of a documentary by Mateusz Żegliński, which was created especially to commemorate the 70th birthday of the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. "Variation rondo for double bass", is a short documentary - an operator’s impression by Mateusz Żegliński, who shows members of the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. The author of the film focused on several musicians of the double bass section to give a detailed account of the musicians’ work. The film was made on the occasion of the Orchestra's Jubilee, which celebrates its 70th anniversary in the artistic season 2018/2019. Żegliński shows us musicians from the backstage, he persuades musicians to confide, shows them both from the professional and private side - he looks with the camera where music lovers usually have no chance to look.I emphasize, first of all, the 70th anniversary of the orchestra, because everything happened thanks to people.
