She is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and winner of the first prize at the international competition Jugendkunstpreis Erkner (Germany) in 2017 in the solo category (in 2016 she won in the chamber music category). She is the leader of the ExQuartet string quartet, specializing in contemporary music, with which she has performed a number of premieres and recorded 6 award-winning albums, one of them won the GLOBAL MUSIC AWARD in 2021.
Monika Sawczuk is also the winner of the "Bialskie Talenty" award and a two-time winner of the violin competition in Zamość. She performed as a soloist at the Masters of Polish Violin Festival, and in 2016, accompanied by the Zielona Góra Philharmonic, she gave solo concerts in Holstebro and Borreby (Denmark). In 2024, she also performed as a soloist with the Szczecin Philharmonic Orchestra.
Monika Sawczuk took part in workshops conducted by the Berlin Philharmonic Scharoun Ensemble and the I Culture Workshops, where she developed her skills under the supervision of the concertmaster of the Philharmonia Orchestra, Zsolt-Tihamér Visontay. She also gained experience in prestigious orchestras, performing, among others, at the following festivals: Young Euro Classic in Berlin, Chopin and his Europe, Santander Music Festival in Spain, Festival International de Piano in France, Fjord Cadenza in Norway, International Festival in Edinburgh, Baltic Sea Festival in Stockholm and Al Bustan Festival in Lebanon.
She was once a participant of the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra, today she is the 1 violin and soloist of the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
