Dorota Miśkiewicz – is one of the favorite jazz vocalists of the Polish audience (she has already won a vote organized by the Jazz Forum magazine four times in a row). She gained her musical skills at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, at first in a violin class. Later, however, she switched to her own "strings" – the vocal cords. She began her career with Włodzimierz Nahormy, with whom she recorded a series of albums devoted to Polish composers: Karol Szymanowski, Fryderyk Chopin, Mieczysław Karłowicz. This ambitious music project became a catapult to further success. Dorota Miśkiewicz has collaborated with such outstanding artists as Cesaria Evora, Stefano Bollani Nigel Kennedy, Jan "Ptaszyn" Wróblewski, Wojciech Młynarski, Tomasz Stańko, Jerzy Wassowski, Anna Maria Jopek, and Grzegorz Turnau, with whom she has been recording and performing regularly since 2005.
