Jakub Chrenowicz – In 2010-2012, he was an assistant to director Antoni Wit at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. He took up the position immediately after graduating with honours from the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in the symphony and opera conducting class of Jerzy Salwarowski. As part of the LLP-Erasmus program, he also studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main and was a scholarship holder of the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, where he studied under Gianluigi Gelmetti.
The artist has performed with such ensembles as: Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Polish National Radio Orchestra, Kammerorchester Berlin, Poznań, Łódź, Krakow and Pomeranian Philharmonic orchestras as well as Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic. In the artistic season 2012/2013, he was the first conductor of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok. He has performed with such outstanding soloists as Alexander Gavrylyuk, Daniil Trifonov, Isabelle van Keulen, Peter Jablonski, Kaja Danczowska, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Piotr Paleczny, Józef Serafin, Bartłomiej Nizioł and Łukasz Długosz.
Jakub Chrenowicz made his debut at the Grand Theatre – Polish National Opera in 2012 with the musical direction of the premiere of the
Biblical Tales ballet evening performed by the Polish National Ballet with works by Sergei Prokofiev, Andrzej Panufnik, Antonio Vivaldi, Johann S. Bach and Giovanni B. Pergolesi. In October 2013, he took over the musical supervision of the ballet performance
Bach Dances, which he will also lead during guest performances of the Polish National Ballet in Barcelona, where the performances are accompanied by the Gran Teatre del Liceu Orchestra under his baton.
