Łukasz Borowicz – in his extraordinary career, has conducted over 180 opera and ballet performances at the Grand Theatre and the National Opera in Warsaw, with Mozart's
Don Giovanni at the forefront. He has also conducted numerous concerts at the Krakow Opera, the Polish Royal Opera and the Grand Theatre in Łódź. Foreign audiences applauded him during the enthusiastically received performances of
King Roger by Karol Szymanowski at the ABAO Opera in Bilbao,
Huguenots by Giacomo Meyerbeer at the Opéra Bastille (as the first Polish conductor in the history of the Paris Opera) or
Halka by Stanisław Moniuszko at the Theater an der Wien.
Maestro Borowicz also regularly conducts the best orchestras in the world, proving his skills in the symphonic repertoire. In the years 2015-2021 he conducted, among others London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, RIAS Kammerchor, and Akademie für Alte Musik, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Bamberger Symphoniker, Gürzenich Köln, Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, Orquesta Titular delchero Real (Madrid), Orchester national des Pays de Loire, Orchester National de Lille, Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK, Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra (Ostrava), Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia Madrid, Orchestra della Svonicera Italiana, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra New Angeles, Los Angeles Group, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Luxembourg and Philharmonic Orchestra.
Maestro Borowicz has recorded over one hundred albums, among others, all violin concertos by Grażyna Bacewicz (soloist: Joanna Kurkowicz), a complete set of symphonic works by Andrzej Panufnik with the Polish Radio Orchestra and Konzerthausorchester Berlin (ICMA Special Achievement Award 2015), an album with Piotr Beczała
Heart's Delight and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (for the Deutsche Grammophon label, Golden Record) or an album with Polish piano music (Paderewski, Stojowski) performed by the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra and Jonathan Plowright (Concerto Choice Award "BBC Music Magazine"). Łukasz Borowicz's recordings have also been awarded the Diapason d'Or four times.
