Atom String Quartet - Penderecki

Atom String Quartet, one of the most intriguing string quartets in the world, has released their fifth album titled Penderecki. This album is a tribute to one of the most important composers of our times, Krzysztof Penderecki. The program's core consists of chamber and solo pieces for wind instruments from the Master's early period, interwoven with Three Pieces in Old Style.

In the 2017/2018 season, Atom String Quartet was the artist-in-residence at the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin. During their residency, the quartet delved into the intricacies of Penderecki's music, creating unique interpretations of the great composer's works.
