Boarte Piano Trio is formed by three outstanding Polish musicians. Konrad Skolarski, Jarosław Nadrzycki and Karol Marianowski are distinguished artists who have gained their international reputation by performing in all European countries, in both Americas and Asia. Both as soloists and chamber musicians and members of the famous Meccore String Quartet, they have conquered many renowned concert halls such as: Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and Menuhin Hall in London, Musikverein in Vienna, BOZAR in Brussels, Frick Collection in New York, Pollack Hall in Montreal, Warsaw Philharmonic, Great Hall of the P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan and Atheneum in Bucharest. During their artistic career they had the honour of collaborating with outstanding personalities from the world of chamber music such as: Alfred Brendel, Günter Pichler, Gerhardt Schulz, Valentin Erben, Heime Müller, Pavel Gililov and with members of the Artemis Quartett including the late Friedmann Weigle. As soloists they performed under the baton of world-famous conductors, including: Krzysztof Penderecki, Mikhail Jurowski, JoAnn Falletta, Łukasz Borowicz, Valery Gergiev, Maxim Vengerov, Kristjan Järvi, Giancarlo Guerrero, Sergey Smbatyan, Massimiliano Caldi and Paul Goodwin.
The members of the Boarte Piano Trio have won numerous international competitions and have received numerous awards for their recordings to date, including the Supersonic Award from the German magazine Pizzicato, the Diapason 5 from the Diapason magazine, and have been nominated several times for the Fryderyk Award. The BPT musicians have performed with leading orchestras, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the MDR Sinfonieorchester and the Simón Bolivar Orchestra of Venezuela.
The artists are graduates of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where they currently teach. The ensemble members also graduated with distinction from the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels, the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Universität der Künste Berlin, the Hochschule für Musik Köln, the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg and the Boston Conservatory.
