The last day of MDF Festival 2020

Spectacular Saturday premiere

The latest music project of Hania Rani and Dobrawa Czocher, whose premiere in the form of an album is planned for the beginning of 2021, delighted everyone gathered in the white Lobby of the Philharmonic and on the livefilharmonia.szczecin.pl platform. Piano and cello, complemented by the soft sound of synthesizers and compelling visualizations created by Pushka Studio, took us to the world of the most sensitive, nature-inspired sounds.

Educational Sunday

During the MDF Festival, we will not forget about our youngest fans and music lovers. On Sunday, September 27, during the workshop "Which way to the sound?" together with the children, we will discover music among objects that, it might seem, do not play. Then we will create a map to help in finding sounds.

The workshops will be followed by the events postponed from Saturday afternoon. "Sounds against the voice" concert | the finale and the Musical Walk around Szczecin with Przemek Głowa. The show is the culmination of the workshops conducted by Patryk Lichota. Their participants perform a composition consisting of the sounds of the city and nature, which they recorded, processed and edited during the workshops during the Music.Design.Form 2020 Festival.

Echo Collective for the final of the MDF Festival

Echo Collective in 2019 introduced a new fantastic project: Jóhann Jóhannsson's string quartet, "12 Conversations with Thilo Heinzmann". This extraordinary work by Echo Collective was released by the cult record label Deutsche Grammophon in September 2019.

"Echo Collective plays Jóhann Jóhannsson" is the concert ending the MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival 2020 and presenting this extraordinary musical project. Musical landscapes painted by Echo Collective are a subtle icing on the cake that will conclude the five exciting festival days.
