Young dancers urgently needed! The casting for the EduVirtuoso III project is underway

So far, the talented youth have played in the concert "EduVirtuoso – symphonic talent show" and sang in "EduVirtuoso II – vocal talent show", which ended with the release of the album “ And they lived long and in Szczecin 2". Now, during the third edition of our project, dance talents are being sought!

The EduVirtuoso series of concerts are the events in which talented young people, playing instruments and singing as well, have participated so far. We announced the first casting for the EduVirtuoso concert in September 2018. We were looking for talented young people who play various instruments. Over 60 instrumentalists applied, and the jury of the competition, consisting of Dorota Serwa – director of the Philharmonic in Szczecin, Jolanta Szczepaniak – jazz singer, teacher and Norbert Twórczyński – conductor, teacher chose seven.

Workshops and dance and music show

The preparations for the May concert will include intensive dance workshops and rehearsals with an orchestra, and the choreography will be composed by an experienced choreographer and dancer. It will be closely matched to the technique, sensitivity and creativity of the participants.
Participation in the "EduVirtuoso III" concert is a unique opportunity to perform in the golden hall during a specially prepared concert. What is more, each of the finalists will also have a chance to be the laureate of the Audience Award.

How to apply for a casting?

All you have to do is to record two films with dance performances – one for any music, and the other for the fragment indicated by the Philharmonic. The videos must be uploaded as links to YouTube (non-public video). Links to the recordings should be included in the application form.
From among the submissions, the jury will select the finalists who will start dance workshops at the Philharmonic at the beginning of May.
