Summer break and online premieres

Usually, July was a month of a break from artistic events at the Philharmonic in Szczecin. This year, which was full of unexpected events and new challenges, the break will be slightly different. Throughout July and August, we will be inviting you to the next meetings with music and online premieres.

Besides the programming of new artistic season, planning the next concerts, doing the administrative work and developing new safety guidelines and procedures, every year we also dedicate holidays to cleaning and conservation works.

We want to prepare a beautiful building of the Philharmonic for the new artistic season, in which we will be able to host our music lovers during concerts. Therefore, the works related to the replacement of carpets, painting or cleaning of inaccessible spaces on a daily basis, inspections and maintenance of stage technology equipment will begin.

There are important months ahead of us, a new artistic season, new challenges, new activities. We would like the Philharmonic to be an elegant, safe and inviting space for you to be in it. So the music we all love so much gives us joy and respite from everyday life. So the Philharmonic sounds well.

On July 9th, the first holiday premiere at livefilharmonia.szczecin.pl will take place! You will be able to move into the world of film music during the concert of Antoni Komasa, who is the author of music for dozens of films and series. For his work, he was awarded such prizes like an individual award at the Film Festival in Gdynia, the Czech Lion or the Transatlantyk award. Moreover, on July 23rd, the music for the film hits from overseas will be presented by Torodd Wigum. Other premieres will take place in August, details soon!
