The following pieces formerly selected to the final round:
1. ‘Visions oniriques’ - composed by Aleksandra Chmielewska
2. ‘Tissage de l’Infini’ – composed by Krystian Neścior
3. ‘From the Slavic legends’ – composed by Mateusz Ryczek
4. ‘bright… holy… mad…’ – composed by Piotr Tabakiernik
5. ‘Akhlys’ – composed by Michał Ziółkowski
were performed by the M. Karłowicz Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Szymon Bywalec.

After the Jury’s hearing of the above-mentioned compositions and their scores’ analysis, in the course of collective discussion, the Jury has decided that:

• the HONORARY MENTION (the sum of 3 500 euro) for the ‘Visions oniriques’ goes to Ms. Aleksandra Chmielewska
• and the HONORARY MENTION (the sum of 3 500 euro) for the ‘From the Slavic legends’ goes to Mr. Mateusz Ryczek

The Jury of the 2 nd Mieczysław Karłowicz International Composers’ Competition Final Round has
also decided that:

• The THIRD PRIZE (the sum of 7 000 euro), for the ‘Tissage de l’Infini’ goes to Mr. Krystian Neścior
• The SECOND PRIZE (the sum of 11 000 euro), for the ‘bright… holy… mad…’ goes to Mr. Piotr Tabakiernik
• The FIRST PRIZE (the sum of 15 000 euro), for the ‘Akhlys’ goes to Mr. Michał Ziółkowski

The Jury has positively acknowledged that the Orchestra Award goes to Mr. Mateusz Ryczek for the ‘From the Slavic legends’
and that the Audience Award goes to Mr. Michał Ziółkowski for the ‘Akhlys’
