Season opening concert 2016/2017

All the music lovers will have a chance to listen to “Symphonic Variations by Witold Lutosławski and Edward Grieg's “Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16”. The Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by the new Artistic Director, Rune Bergmann together with Joaquín Achúcarro, a piano virtuoso will perform that evening. This Spanish pianist is a living legend, piano genius, brilliant artist and an outstanding musical personality. So far he has worked in 58 countries across the globe with over 200 orchestras including the Philharmonics in Berlin, New York, London, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
