
Anna Lasota was born on October 7, 1983, in Piotrków Trybunalski. She is a musical theatre singer who began her professional music career at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. Since 2008, she has been collaborating with the Musical Theatre in Poznań, where she has performed around forty stage roles, mainly in the musical repertoire.
She has also worked with the Baroque Orchestra Accademia Dell'Arcadia and, since 2011, with the Film Music Concert, performing film compositions. In 2019, she released her first album, Essence.
In 2016, Anna Lasota received the Jan Kiepura Musical Theatre Award in the category of Best Musical Singer. That same year, she appeared as Mary Magdalene in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar at the INEA Stadium in Poznań. In 2018, she took part in the Jubilee Gala Concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of the ZAIKS Authors' Association.
Since 2022, she has been a vocal instructor at the musical theatre program at the Poznań Academy of Music, and from October 2024, she has been working at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań as a lecturer in musical theatre singing. In June 2023, she began a doctoral project at the Poznań Academy of Music on the work of Czesław Niemen. In February 2022, she launched the project Jutro będzie Futro, which continued into the 2024/2025 season.
