Alessio Bax – is "undoubtedly one of the greatest young pianists of our time" – states the renowned British magazine Gramophone. Bax is the winner of first prizes at prestigious international piano competitions in Leeds and Hamamatsu. Moreover, he is known not only as an excellent concert pianist but also as a chamber musician.
In his career, he has already played with over 150 orchestras worldwide, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. In addition, he regularly collaborates with such outstanding conductors as Marin Alsop, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Sir Andrew Davis, Fabio Luisi, Sir Simon Rattle, Yuri Temirkanov and Jaap van Zweden.
Bax has also made many recordings for leading music labels. His most famous recordings include Beethoven's

His tour of Spain with violinist Joshua Bell and cellist Steven Isserlis was a great success. In recent seasons, Bax has also played many solo recitals at London's famous Wigmore Hall, Kennedy Centre in Washington, and Carnegie Hall in New York.
He is a Steinway artist living in New York, and his wife is the talented pianist Lucille Chung.
