
Krzysztof Herdzin is one of the most versatile musicians in Poland: Doctor of Musical Arts, composer, conductor, arranger, pianist, and producer. He has released 19 original albums and participated in over 200 recordings. He has received 18 Gold and 4 Platinum Records as an arranger. He orchestrated the Oscar-winning score by Jan A.P. Kaczmarek for the film Finding Neverland. He has been nominated eleven times for the Fryderyk Awards (simultaneously in jazz and contemporary music categories) and won the 2012 Fryderyk for Best Jazz Composer/Arranger.
He has collaborated with most of Poland’s jazz and pop music stars (including Zbigniew Namysłowski, Jan “Ptaszyn” Wróblewski, Irena Santor, Ewa Bem, Anna Maria Jopek, Kayah, Maryla Rodowicz, Ryszard Rynkowski, and Mietek Szcześniak). As a conductor, he has worked with over 30 orchestras in Poland and abroad.
