Szymon Brodziak

"What you see is who you are". – says Szymon Brodziak (b. 1979), a master Of black and white photography. The youngest artist and the first Pole, whose works has been exhibited at the Helmut Newton Foundation Museum Of Photography in Berlin. At the Cannes Film Festival, recognised by the jury of the Fashion TV Photographers Awards (2013) as the worlďs best photographer of black and white advertising campaigns. In 2019, he confirmed his position at the absolute world top by winning ISt place in the Worldŕs Top 10 Black & White Photographers competition, in which the international platform One Eyeland selects the worlďs top 10 black and white photographers. For his original projects and advertising campaigns, Brodziak has received more than 120 awards and prizes in international photography competitions in New York, Paris, Tokyo, London and others.

Szymon has participated in 91 individual and group exhibitions. His two original Photo albums have won medals in the prestigious Prix de la Photographie Paris competition. Szymon loves photographing women. He is inspired by the places where he realises his monochromatic visions. His photographs resem ble frames from movies which were never made.

Since 2013, Szymon has been running his own Photo gallery – Brodziak Gallery, where he sells his photographs and regularly organises vernissages and other cultural events. In this way. he fulfils his mission of sharing beauty. A decade later, in 2023, the artist launched the online platform Brodziak Academy, through which he inspires artists and shares his 25 years of experience.
