On February 2, 2024, the National Philharmonic in Warsaw will host a concert filled with the music of Edvard Grieg. The Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra will be a guest performer, presenting a program entirely dedicated to this composer.
Edvard Grieg made Scandinavia appear on the musical map of Europe. Today, he is said to be the most outstanding Norwegian composer in history.
We will begin the evening at the National Philharmonic with the beautiful Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16. It will be performed by the excellent Anna Fedorova – a Ukrainian pianist considered one of the world's leading young pianists. The second part of the evening will be filled with the Peer Gynt Suites No. 1 and No. 2.
The Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra will be led by conductor Rune Bergmann.
