Pablopavo with the Philharmonia orchestra

New symphonic arrangements of songs from the well-received album “Wir” will be presented by the Szczecin Philharmonia on 17th March. The album has received top reviews both from fans and the media. The album became album of the week at Polish Radio Programme 3 and was personally recommended by Marek Niedźwiecki. During the Szczecin concert those beautiful poetic songs will be performed along with the orchestra. Young musician Patryk Kraśniewski (pianist, arranger and composer) was asked to prepare arrangements of these songs for the symphonic orchestra of the Philharmonic in Szczecin.

Pablopavo (Paweł Sołtys) initially made reggae music and was part of the band Vavamuffin. In 2009 he made his debut solo album of band Pablopavo i Ludziki entitled “Telehon”. The album received a dozen-or-so good reviews, and what's more, a lot of listeners. The second album “10 piosenek” appeared in 2011. In the same year another album was released – “Głodne kawałki” was recorded in duet with producer Rafał Kołaciński (aka Praczas). Both albums were also reveryally well-received.

Another album released in 2014, “POLOR” was significantly successful in the media, with the song “Dancingowa piosenka miłosna” reaching 4th in the prestigious charts of Polish Radio Programme 3 (Lista Przebojów Trójki). In the second half of 2014, Pablopavo released a solo album entitled “TYLKO”. Once again, the singles “Sobota” and “Carlos” promoting this album appeared on the charts of national radio stations. Receiving the award “Polityka Magazine Passport” in the Popular Music category was a cherry on the top for Pablopavo, in a very intensive year.

Paweł Sołtys (Pablopavo) invited vocalist Ania Iwanek to record on his latest album “Wir”, which was created together with Rafał Kołaciński (Praczas).

"This is how the most peaceful climatic material was made. Praczas combines digital cracks and slow beats with separated parts of a piano or clarinet. Ania Iwanek sings harmony and enters a dialogue with the vocalist, adding tenderness, melodiousness and live character to the songs. While Pablopavo (…) paints poetic images filled with nostalgia, emotion and reflection. The level of this project is as high as Nosowska's albums."
