See the Philharmonic in 3D!

Autumn afternoons and evenings can be very long. It gets dark earlier, the rain outside the window and the cool wind force us to stay at home. However, you can spend time with your family – listening to great music that will make the city come alive in your imagination – the “cranesaurus”, big roundabouts and the smell of chocolate! The album "And they lived long and in Szczecin" is fully devoted to the city. Lyrics to the tunes by composer Mateusz Czarnowski, an employee of the Philharmonic Education Department and leader of the Bubliczki band, were created by a young highly appreciated playwright and author of fairy tales for children. The Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Miłosz Bembinow was responsible for the music. The main characters here are 15 young singers from across the West Pomeranian Region.

Puzzles are even better when you can listen to songs such as “Piegi Oriona” (Orion’s freckles), “Stoczniowe ZOO” (Shipyard Zoo) and “Czekoladowe miasto” (Chocolate city). The structure of the Philharmonic, one of Szczecin’s landmarks, can now be taken home. Parents, uncles, aunts and grandparents, all are willing to help the youngest put together a colorful Philharmonic. First the foundations and the pillars, then the walls, and finally the characteristic roof. Students of the 2nd grade at Gymnasium 42 from the Complex of Secondary Schools No. 6 in Szczecin took part in the premiere and assembled their Philharmonic. The tweens did really well with the task. The best of the teams of four pieced their Philharmonic together in an hour and twenty minutes.
