
Susanne Szambelan, born in 1993 in New York, grew up in Poznań. At the age of fifteen, she debuted with the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, which opened the door for her to numerous solo and chamber concerts throughout Europe, including with the Poznań Philharmonic and Sinfonietta Cracovia. In 2014, she moved to Berlin, where she completed her studies at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler," under the tutelage of Prof. Stephan Forck and Prof. Claudio Bohorquez.
Her passion for chamber music has resulted in collaborations with outstanding artists such as Daniel Hope and Boris Brovtsyn, and with the Karajan-Akademie der Berliner Philharmoniker. From 2021-2024, Susanne was a scholarship holder of the prestigious Villa Musica program, the Kurt Sanderling Academy at Konzerthaus Berlin, and a recipient of the #MusikerZukunft Scholarship. Since 2024, she has been a member of the Lyatoshinsky Trio and the multidisciplinary ensemble menajiri.
