Muzsikas consists of Mihály Sipos, László Porteleki, Péter Éri and Dániel Hamar - musicians who approach the country music making and singing with respect and care, and at the same time they are not afraid of bold and unobvious interpretations. They prove that instead of reproducing tradition, it can be creatively processed. The quartet reaches for music from various regions, although it is particularly close to the works of the Hungarian-speaking inhabitants of the eastern part of Transylvania, especially the Seklers living in the Transylvanian plain. The musicians, apart from the classic set of violins, violas and double bass, present less known instruments on the stage, such as Carpathian bagpipes or three-stringed contra (or gardon).
