It is worth noting that our philharmonic big band has extensive experience in creating a holiday atmosphere, confirmed by their special Christmas album. You can be sure that traditional melodies will be presented in modern arrangements by Jakub Kraszewski and Tomasz Licak, wrapped in Christmas magic and big band flair. The stage will also feature beloved vocalists of the Szczecin audience: Martyna Szczepaniak, Magdalena Wilento and Michał Grobelny.

These artists, stepping into the role of contemporary carolers, will bring generations together in an unexpected way, encouraging family gatherings to the rhythm of big band sounds. Their music is a perfect choice for anyone seeking a fresh perspective on Christmas traditions.

The Szczecin Philharmonic Big Band was founded in 2017 on the initiative of trombonist Igor Puszkar. The ensemble combines well-known musicians from the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra with outstanding instrumentalists and arrangers from the Szczecin and Poznań music scenes.

Conductor Jakub Kraszewski will lead the entire concert. Expect a blend of tradition, passion, and the powerful sound of American-style big bands. It is a holiday event not to be missed!
