Piazzolla's music – bizarre, unique and infused with hot rhythms of Buenos Aires – moves musicians and listeners. The most famous tangos will be heard in the orchestration of "Die 12 Cellisten der Berliner Philharmoniker".
Their orchestration on instruments of a unique colour results in an unusual combination of profoundness and humour, depth and lightness. They are all perfectionist virtuosos and play cellos from the seventeenth and eighteenth-century Italian workshops. The musicians who had participated in the concert inaugurating the new home of the Szczecin Philharmonic will perform for us again – this time in the Golden Hall, accompanied by the tango masters.
