Master of sound synthesis, virtuoso of sequencing, and a legendary figure in the American underground electronic music: Richard Devine is one of the most outstanding contemporary sound designers and composers of electronic music. Inspired by both classics and avant-garde, in his performances he combines early electronic music with the latest technological developments.



Famous for impromptu concerts, during which he uses hundreds of personally created samples – processed and sequenced in real time. Devine can produce the most unusual sounds not only from an impressive battery of equipment (including various synthesizers), but also from glass, metal, wood, water, or even a swarm of bees, a flock of birds or a shoal of dolphins.
