This extraordinary evening is an invitation to embark on a journey into uncharted sonic territory – blending classic jazz trio artistry with a brand-new instrument. Leszek Możdżer, Lars Danielsson, and Zohar Fresco return to Poland with their BEAMO project, following the success of their November album, which garnered enthusiastic reviews.

On stage, audiences will witness the world's only decaphonic piano, explicitly created for Możdżer. What exactly is this instrument? While a traditional piano features 12 tones per octave, the decaphonic version has only 10; two keys sound the same. This innovation introduces a new tonal structure, which, although initially unusual, feels surprisingly natural to the ear. Alongside this unique piano, Możdżer also plays two others: one tuned to the standard pitch (A = 440 Hz) and one in the more subtle 432 Hz temperament.

The trio explores the space between classical form and bold experimentation – Możdżer navigates three distinct sonic worlds, Danielsson seamlessly ties them together with his deep double bass (and occasionally viola da gamba), and Fresco infuses the music with his signature rhythmic finesse and glass-like delicacy.
