Fours Collective

Manfred Eicher motto: ‘Music is not sound. It's the organization of emotion in time’, was adopted by the five musicians behind the Fours Collective. Their music resembles an original mosaic of sounds, which opens a space for the listener filled with light and emotions in a pure form. It is an ongoing experiment which combines sounds and genres, reaching the most sensitive corners of every listener's soul.

Drum'n'bass and classical music, jazz and ethnic music, funk and electronic sounds are just the beginning of a long list of genres which when thrown into one pot, bring an effect in the form of their debut album ‘Treezz’. As they assure, every concert is an unforgettable clash of the individual musician’s energy from making music together.

The Fours Collective is an ensemble set up in 2010 from an initiative by the students of the Music Academy in Cracow. Their debut album ‘Treezz’ released in March 2014 crowns their joint efforts. Compositions from this album as well as new ones will be heard during the jazz chamber meeting with the musicians.
