Presidential Concert

Traditionally at the beginning of the the New Year we extend our invitation for the Presidential Concert. Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka – as he admits – listens to Bach while driving his car. Rock and folk sounds of Zakopower combined with orchestral instruments form another, yet unique combination of popular and classical music.

The famous Tatra band have already performed with symphony orchestras of the Kalisz and Częstochowa Philharmonics, as well as with the prominent opera singer Aleksandra Kurzak and the virtuoso violinist Nigel Kennedy.

For the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra it is not the first confrontation of this kind either – they do not fear the challenges and familiarization with the rock repertoire, and they have already performed with, among others, Steve Vai, Voo Voo, Motion Trio, Klezmafour and Hey.
