After the massive success of the Polish-German project "Senior ON", increasing the digital competencies of seniors on both sides of the border, the Philharmonic continues its activities for music lovers aged 60+. "Senior ON Plus" is a day full of music workshops, dance, singing, relaxation and manual work.
The ongoing covid-19 pandemic negatively affected the psyche of the elderly on both sides of the border. Due to the growing number of vaccinated people, especially in the senior group, in August 2021, it was possible to reorganize Polish-German meetings "live", integrating the community in the Pomerania Euroregion. Joint afro-dance workshops, workshops on creating ecological, natural cosmetics and participation in relaxation workshops using ethnic instruments – mainly sound bowls and gongs with vocal elements helped seniors on both sides of the border to return to their physical and spiritual balance after the difficult time of the pandemic. The day, full of various workshops in an atmosphere of multiculturalism, was a stimulus for seniors to return to regular cultural and social activity after the pandemic.
