The International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra by Szczecin Philharmonic is one of the few international youth orchestras in Europe. Since 2013, it has brought together young classical musicians from Poland, across Europe, and around the world. The mission of ILYO is to provide young instrumentalists with the opportunity to experience and enjoy classical music by performing it together as a symphony orchestra. Under the roof of the majestic Szczecin Philharmonic, participants not only perform but also learn from outstanding orchestral musicians, exchange experiences and insights, and build lasting friendships. The ILYO orchestra also tours beyond Szczecin, sharing its passion for symphonic music with audiences worldwide.
The 14th edition of the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra (ILYO) will take place from 31 August to 6 September 2026 at the Szczecin Philharmonic, the home of ILYO since the very beginning of the project.
