Mitch&Mitch | Amore assoluto per Ennio

On 25 October, the Szczecin Philharmonic will become the setting for a unique meeting of two musical worlds. That evening, Mitch & Mitch con il loro Gruppo Etereofonico will pay musical tribute to one of the greatest composers of the twentieth century, the legendary Ennio Morricone.

Ensemble, enriched by a brass section and the magical sound of the vibraphone, will perform music from the award-winning album Amore assoluto per Ennio. The programme will feature some of Morricone’s lesser-known yet remarkably captivating compositions from 1969-1971, inspired by the styles of easy listening and bossa nova. Full of lightness, elegance, and melodic charm, these works reveal a different side of the Maestro’s output, beyond the music for which he is best known on the cinema screen.

All of this is presented with the unmistakable arranging style of Mitch & Mitch. Their interpretations of Morricone’s music combine masterful musicianship, deep respect for the original works, and a distinctive artistic sensibility.
