
Born in Warsaw, he began playing the saxophone while still in high school. He also holds a degree in International and European Law from France. During his studies there, he trained with distinguished French saxophonists including Jean-François Bonnel, Olivier Temime, Eric Barret and Lionel Belmondo. After returning to Poland, he continued his musical education independently and under the guidance of the acclaimed Polish trumpeter, composer and jazz educator Piotr Wojtasik.
Since 2002, he has been a permanent member of ensembles led by the legendary Polish drummer Kazimierz Jonkisz. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with many outstanding figures of the Polish and international jazz scene. As a performer and recording artist, he has appeared alongside Billy Harper (DVD
Billy Harper – Live in Poland, 2007), the Monty Waters Quintet (2002-2008), Isham "Rusty" Jones, Kevin Mahogany, the Stephen McCraven Quartet, Rasul Siddik, John Betsch, John Scofield, John Medeski, Ronnie Cuber, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Janusz Muniak, Piotr Wojtasik, Janusz Skowron, Sławomir Kulpowicz, Kuba Stankiewicz, Artur Dutkiewicz, the Konglomerat Big Band, and many other distinguished musicians.
