Hyuk Lee

Born in Seoul in 2000, Hyuk Lee is the First Prize winner of the 2022 Long-Thibaud International Piano Competition in Paris. Classica magazine described him as “a solar pianist with dazzling mastery and an innate sense of dramaturgy.” He has appeared with leading orchestras including the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de l'Opéra Royal de Versailles and KBS Symphony Orchestra, performing at prestigious venues such as the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Warsaw Philharmonic and Tokyo's Kioi Hall. A graduate of the École Normale de Musique de Paris, he was awarded the prestigious Prix Cortot as the institution's outstanding pianist of the year.

Pianists Hyuk and Hyo Lee represent one of the most remarkable young partnerships on today’s international piano scene-two outstanding soloists who together form a rare artistic unity. Each has established a distinctive musical identity and enjoys growing international recognition as a solo performer, yet when they perform together, their shared musical instinct creates an extraordinary sense of cohesion, spontaneity and expressive depth.

Hyuk Lee first attracted international attention as a finalist of the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (2021), where his poetic intensity and artistic maturity won widespread acclaim. Four years later, both brothers drew even greater international recognition at the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition (2025), captivating audiences and critics alike with their individuality, charisma and sincerity.
