Giardino di Delizie is a dynamic and creative Polish-Italian ensemble founded in 2014 by Dr. Ewa Anna Augustynowicz – violinist and the group’s artistic director. It is composed of professional female musicians specializing in historical performance, primarily from Poland and Italy.
The ensemble has performed at many prestigious festivals in Italy, Poland, and abroad, including: Almisonis Melos Chivasso, Sulle Ombre del Cusanino Filottrano, BRQ Vantaa Music Festival in Helsinki, Utrecht Early Music Festival, Schola Cantorum Festival in Kalisz, Wilanów Palace Festival, Baroque in Spisz Festival, Pietà de’ Turchini in Naples, Música Antiga dels Pirineus in Spain, Festival Misericordia, May with Early Music, Szczecin Baroque Festival, Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio, Column Hall of the University of Warsaw, Milano Arte Musica, Hermans Festival, Terras sem Sombra Festival in Portugal, Łańcut Music Festival, Festival am 13. in Stuttgart, and many others.
As of June 2025, Giardino di Delizie has released seven albums with the renowned label Brilliant Classics and one with Da Vinci Publishing.
Many of these are world premiere recordings, which have received highly positive reviews from international critics. Three albums were nominated for the prestigious Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik, and the most recent one was shortlisted for the esteemed ICMA Award.
In 2025, the ensemble will release another album, featuring the Trio Sonatas op. 2 by Carlo Mannelli.
