Mateusz Czarnowski
Composer, arranger, instrumentalist and leader of the folk ensembles Bubliczki and Pioun. He studied Music Education, specialising in Choral Conducting, at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, where he currently works as an academic lecturer and teaches Ethnic Music.Head of the Educational Events Department at the Szczecin Philharmonic. He has received scholarships from the Mayor of Szczecin, the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage to carry out projects related to the revitalisation of the musical heritage of Western Pomerania. He is also the music producer of the albums Opaa! (2010), Trubalkan (2013) and Turbofolk (2016). An enthusiast and promoter of ethnic music and traditional Kashubian and West Pomeranian culture.
