
Born in 1995. Polish pianist, chamber musician, music producer and composer. Considered one of the most original and versatile musicians of his generation. Winner of over thirty prizes at national and international piano and chamber music competitions. He has performed solo recitals and symphonic concerts in dozens of countries across three continents. From 2020 to 2022, he was artist-in-residence with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.
A graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice (Primus Inter Pares, 2019). He values the merits of academic training equally with raw intuition and artistic naturalness, which allows him to move freely across a wide range of musical genres and modes of artistic expression.
He has made numerous recordings – solo, symphonic, and chamber music. The album "J. S. Bach: Goldberg Variations | Tymoteusz Bies | DUX, 2024" was awarded the Fryderyk 2025 in the "Solo Recital – Album of the Year" category. As a music producer, he has co-created dozens of hip-hop, pop, underground, and experimental tracks. He has composed music for several feature films. Together with his brother Jacek, he forms the composer-producer duo BIESY. He is the arranger and artistic director of the project "Paktofonika: Retrospekcje".
In 2021, he took part in the film "Bread and Salt" (dir. Damian Kocur, Poland, 2022) as the lead actor and performer of the piano works featured in the film. The film won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice International Film Festival and received multiple awards at international film festivals. His acting debut was recognized with the JANTAR Award for Best Male Discovery at the "Młodzi i Film" festival in Koszalin (2023).
