After the clash between Mozart and Beethoven, it is time for another adventure. This time, the Philharmonic’s Golden Hall will welcome two composers from the same city. More than that, they even attended the same school, although they never had the chance to sit in the same classroom.
The first is precision personified: elegance, virtuosity, and rhythmic brilliance. Among his works, you will find dazzling piano pieces, orchestral masterpieces, a ballet, and a fairy-tale opera. We know that snare drummers dislike him, but do not let that fool you. He truly was a genius of his craft.
The second delights in atmosphere and subtlety. He paints musical landscapes filled with colour and mist. He finds inspiration in the sound of ocean waves and the glow of moonlight. Usually mysterious and discreet, he is said to spend his afternoons in the company of a certain faun...
These two composers were once friends, but over time they became rivals. What will happen when they meet again in the same philharmonic hall? Will they join forces, or will they argue over whose sounds are more captivating?
We invite you to the second edition of Chaos at the Philharmonic – a concert full of fascinating stories, surprising facts, and musical duels. Have you already guessed the identities of the mysterious composers who will be visiting us this time?
